Founder and provider Ryan Hornback has over 30 years of hands-on experience in many therapy styles. His intuitive approach offers a very personalized and targeted treatment.Ryan Hornback is a highly skilled bodyworker with over 30 years experience and thousands of hours with clients. He pulls from dozens of techniques as he has studied with various teachers from around the world, and draws on this depth of knowledge in each unique client session. Ryan’s biggest asset is his ability to remain open in his mind when approaching treatment, which allows for an intuitive or collaborative journey unique to each client’s needs. This approach achieves a synergy in the client’s energy, reaching what is known as Stillpoint, a temporary pause in the body’s rhythms where the body can reset and reveal what it is that needs healing in that moment.

Ryan was exposed to esoteric studies in healing arts from the young age of 10 years old, and began to develop a connection to breath and spirit by studying with gifted mentors. This laid a foundation for his path ahead, and when was 18 he attended his first massage school with a focus in Shiatsu technique. From there, he continued on to study Thai massage, Polarity therapy, yoga and meditation through Yogananda’s school, Trigger Point therapy, Cranialsacral work, Rolfing and Structural Integration and more. Alongside his trainings, he finds that the most profound study is hours upon hours of experiential work with clients where the teachings are integrated and come alive.

Therapeutic and Bodywork Treatments

Ryan has had opportunities to learn from masters, teachers and renowned practitioners and offers a variety of techniques in his sessions. Below are some of the approaches he pulls from.

Intuitive Approach

A multi-layered experience drawing from 30 years of somatics, which emphasizes internal physical perception and experience. It can involve trusting your gut or "sixth sense".

Structural Integration

A manual therapy that works to realign the body as a whole. This approach frees the binding and shortening in connective tissues, what we refer to as the fascial network, and re-educates the body in efficient energy-sustaining patterns.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

A practice that revolves around and expands on palpating the flow of cerebrospinal fluid around the brain and spinal cord in a patient’s body, inviting these strain patterns to be reorganized.

Scalar Laser

A system used for relief of minor muscle and joint pain, arthritis and muscle spasm, relieving stiffness, promoting relaxation of muscle tissue, and temporarily increasing local blood circulation.

Thai Massage

A therapy combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures.

Sound Healing

The didgeridoo is an ancient musical instrument and powerful tool that can help lift an individual's vibration back to a less chaotic and natural rhythm. The broad range of harmonics produced by the didgeridoo vibrates in an ancient and universal tone and can be used as a sound therapy or sound healing tool.

Cupping

A therapy that has been used for hundreds of years. Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed to relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.

Shiatsu

A Japanese healing therapy that focuses on balancing the body's energy flow and promoting overall well-being. Through the application of gentle pressure and stretching techniques, this method can help release tension, alleviate pain, and restore the natural balance of your body.

Vibration

A therapy to restore the balance in the body's chakras, keeping the muscles, nervous system and organs in perfect harmony. Using a tuning fork for sound therapy is one of the best techniques to achieve total relaxation.

Moxibustion

A treatment found within traditional Chinese medicine where the practitioner burns the herb “moxa” on or above the skin to warm and stimulate specific points on the body. This method strengthens the blood, stimulates the flow of qi, and maintains overall health.

Polarity

A therapy to restore the balance in the body's chakras, keeping the muscles, nervous system and organs in perfect harmony. This method works with life energy in all of its forms, using a comprehensive system of bodywork. Polarity is more than just a collection of techniques – at its heart is a set of principles involving the balance and flow of life energy.

Quantum Healing

In quantum energy healing, the practitioner operates with the concept that all matter is composed of energy at the quantum (subatomic) level. Using intention, focused awareness, and specific techniques, this approach aims to shift these energy patterns in ways that support the body’s natural healing abilities.
